Traveling based

Projects

At eSky, we develop many projects, ranging from the search engine for air connections combined with the module for selecting optimal connections, through the transaction and payment system, to systems responsible for after-sales processing and customer service, as well as the user zone. We also develop many modules and supporting systems, which are often the customer’s first point of contact with our service. All these systems together with the mobile application constitute the Esky Travel Systems (ETS) ecosystem.

IT Team Leader

Location: Katowice

My eSky journey has been going on for 10 years now

  • IT Team Leader
  • External IT Consultant

I was not supposed to be here at all …

I only came to eSky for three months to finish a project. There was a lot of work here, so I let myself be persuaded and stayed. After five years, I got my team and that was a turning point in my professional career. The next stage was when I had so many people in my team that I had to divide them into sections. Here I learned peace, humility and respect for other people. I’ve also learned to make decisions based on data, not on intuition.

The journey of my life is…

Albania, Bosnia, Montenegro, Croatia, Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica in one motorcycle trip.

My favorite place on earth is…

Recently, the mountain Plocno in Bosnia and Herzegovina made the biggest impression on me. 2200 m, you can go on it by motorbike. Great views, total off-road. I adore.

My biggest failure during the holidays was…

Once we put up our tent in the wrong place. A downpour came and there was a lake. Everything was floating – everything 💦

Mobile Apps Team Leader

Location: Katowice

My eSky journey has started 12 years ago

  • Mobile App Team Leader
  • Graphic Designer
  • Frontend Developer

Without telling anyone, I set my own development path…

I came here straight after college, I was not confident of myself and my skills. Over time, I learned to talk to people and gained courage. Surrounding myself with people smarter than myself has helped me a lot. When the company started to prepare to create its own mobile application, without telling anyone, I prepared my own version of the app, which in the end worked better than the one ordered from an external agency. I showed it to the Management Board, made an impression and got full support and trust to continue the project.

My biggest failure during the holidays was…

Traveling by a scooter in Thailand – I barely passed the test of riding it at the rental company.

The journey of my life is…

Zaporizhia. We traveled there with friends for 3 days by train and I had a lot of adventures there.

My favorite place on earth

I don’t have a favorite place, but it feels the best in the regions of Croatia.

My biggest failure during the holidays was…

After two days of travel to Zaporizhia, the train was stopped by the police, who wanted to throw us out of it because we weren’t the most polite. Fortunately, we had built a good relationship with the ladies who served the train earlier, and they stood up for us in negotiations with the police👮
